Zero Zone was founded in 1961 by George Johnson, Duke Wegner, and K Hirata. They had a dream of starting their own business, but didn’t have much money. What they did have was 50 years of refrigeration experience and the will to succeed. So with a pledge to “build the best freezers in the business at a competitive price”, they named their new company Zero Zone, and began operations in a rented dairy barn in Pewaukee, WI. With no payroll and no vacations, all three men built the cases themselves from the finest quality raw materials, then went out and sold them to local customers. The business began to grow, and so did their dreams. Today Zero Zone's committment to innovation, quality and responsiveness have made them a leader in the refrigeration industry. The founders’ commitment to excellence has remained one of the core values of Zero Zone, and today, that sense of commitment is stronger than ever.

Parallel Rack Systems

Zero Zone's parallel rack systems offer a unique combination of advanced features designed to optimize performance and efficiency. At the heart of the system is a network of versatile compressors operating in parallel, allowing for precise modulation of cooling capacity to match fluctuating demands. This configuration ensures optimal energy efficiency by preventing overcooling, a common issue with traditional parallel rack refrigeration systems. Ultimate ControlWith options of highly efficient compressors (reciprocating, screw, or scroll), you have ultimate control of a flexible system. Built to LastThe enduring strength of the Zero Zone Parallel Rack System lies in its robust construction. Utilizing a solid steel frame and streamlined refrigeration piping, the system minimizes joints and potential leaks. Energy Efficiency The Zero Zone Parallel Rack System is designed with a primary focus on optimizing energy efficiency, ensuring that the system operates at peak performance while minimizing energy consumption. Outdoor ConfigurationInstead of taking up precious space for a refrigeration system or in a back room, retailers are able to install an enclosed parallel rack refrigeration system on a concrete pad or on the roof. Available with hinged or removable panels, contractors are safely protected from the weather and can conveniently access all interior components. Customized for Your NeedsZero Zone offers custom solutions to meet diverse needs, whether it's a horizontal or vertical electric cabinet, stacked compressors, circuit or loop piping, heat reclaim, split condensers, or other unique system features.

Distributed refrigeration systems

Edge™ is designed to provide precise cooling solutions tailored to specific areas of your store. Strategically placing it near refrigeration cases or walk-in coolers removes the need for extensive piping, reducing installation costs. This modular approach offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to customize your refrigeration system to match the exact cooling requirements of your products.
